The Petzl Simba Kids Climbing Harness is an easy-to-use, durable, fully adjustable full-body climbing harness designed to protect young climbers between 110 and 160 cm tall and weighing less than 40 kg.

This Simba Kids Harness features a convenient FAST LT PIN-LOCK buckle on the back for easy use. The colour-coded right and left sides allow for simple instructions for kids. The self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles offer effortless adjustment. The webbing ends provide a strong grip for easy and quick adjustments, even while wearing gloves.

The follow-on size from the , the Petzl Simba Kids Harness is more suitable for slightly older and heavier children. Kids need full-body harnesses because they do not have well-defined hips, and if they invert in a regular sit harness they could fall straight out. The Simba should reduce this risk with its safer full body design. As long as they weigh less than 40kg this is a great choice for taking children on their first forays to the crag and introducing them to rock-climbing. There is a marking area on the outside of the harness for easy identification when stored. There is also an identification panel on the harness to track the equipment throughout its lifespan.

It is fully adjustable at the leg loops and shoulder straps to get a precise and comfortable fit. Fewer straps allow a bit more freedom to move and are better for longer days spent in a harness. For slightly younger and lighter kids the  would be a better choice.
